POSTCARD QUILT CHALLENGE QUEENSTOWN
The postcard quilt challenge was interesting to enter. The topic for each of the required quilts were released one at a time. Having already decided on the unusual orientation, I played with the designs, planning to interlink the lot with a ribbon. Until I had the last piece of the puzzle, I was unable to complete the artwork.
The artwork was drawn with Inktense(tm) pencils using a LOT of trial and error. Afterwards the drawings were outlined with another type of ink then the picture drawn around with black thread to highlight the picture. The quilting was with a transparent thread in an all over design. These are the size of a large postcard (4x6) Winners were determined by online voting.
