While I was busy making quilts for family, I asked my mother-in-law if she would like one.  She was enthusiastic and picked the double wedding ring.

She decide on the colours (and bought them so they would be the exact fabrics she wanted) I put this together the old fashion way with cardboard pattern, scissors and one piece at a time.  It was hand quilted and with the extra fabric I made some cushions.  

When they came for a visit this is how she found her bed.  She was very surprise and seemed pleased. :)
